In rural Kenya, numerous socioeconomic factors impede access to education for many children, presenting daily challenges. At Darko Orphans, we firmly believe that education is the cornerstone for breaking the cycle of poverty. That’s why we are dedicated to providing this essential component of life to help less fortunate children achieve their aspirations.
Darko Orphans is committed to removing financial barriers to education by covering school fees for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) enrolled in our program, spanning elementary, secondary, and tertiary education. We partner with various learning institutions where the children attend, enabling us to reach as many OVCs as possible and make a positive impact in their communities.
Our approach is rooted in a long-term strategy aimed at transforming communities through education. By empowering OVCs with knowledge and skills, we are laying the foundation for sustainable progress. As part of our efforts, Darko Orphans proudly operates Darko Girls Secondary School, a fully equipped institution staffed with qualified teachers who provide high-quality education and spiritual guidance. This school is open to the public, welcoming any girl who meets the qualifications for secondary education.
Through these initiatives, Darko Orphans is dedicated to nurturing educated children who will become catalysts for positive change within their communities and beyond.
